DADBATS × RONIN
This is a free youth baseball and softball sponsorship application for players ages 10–15 who are currently in school. No purchase, donation, payment or raffle entry is required. A parent or legal guardian must participate. Selection will be made by authorized human reviewers.

The application requests the player’s name, age, sport, school-enrollment confirmation, seven written answers, final essay, guardian name and email, permission and review confirmations, and evidence that guardian consent was verified. Exact birthdates, home addresses, school names, identity documents, medical records and financial documents are not requested.
Ronin uses the application to check eligibility, privately review the player’s story with authorized DadBats × Ronin reviewers, select a sponsorship recipient and contact the guardian about the application. Cloudflare hosts the service and encrypted private data storage. Resend delivers guardian invitation emails using only the guardian email and a short-lived code, without player answers, names or signed forms. Invitation emails do not use open or link tracking. The application does not subscribe your family to marketing or authorize public sharing of the player’s name, story or image. Any public announcement requires separate permission.
If you choose AI editing, OpenAI would receive the player’s sport and seven answers to help arrange them into a first-person essay. The application will omit the player’s name and guardian contact fields from that request, but a written answer may still contain personal details. The player and guardian must review every fact and may edit or reject the draft. AI does not select the sponsorship recipient.
AI is optional. You may write the essay manually with the same opportunity for consideration. For ages 13–15 with verified guardian AI consent, OpenAI processes the sport and answers to produce the draft, with safety screening of the answers and draft. Requests use store:false; OpenAI may retain content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, with exceptions described in its data policy. Players ages 10–12 may use the manual essay option with the same eligibility while provider Zero Data Retention approval is pending. AI editing for these ages will remain unavailable unless the required provider data-retention protections have been confirmed.

You can decline to apply, ask to review or correct the player’s application, revoke consent, or request deletion. Ronin will verify that the request comes from the guardian before providing access or making changes. Signed-form images and incomplete requests expire 14 days after upload. Invitations expire after 24 hours; verified sessions expire after 30 minutes. Applications and the minimal consent-verification record are scheduled for deletion from active storage by March 1, 2027 (midnight Pacific), about 90 days after the application window closes. Cloudflare recovery backups on the current Free plan may retain deleted encrypted records for up to 7 additional days; backups are not used for routine review. Resend retains operational email records under its 30-day retention policy. A verified withdrawal or deletion request removes the active application and consent sessions sooner; provider backups expire on their normal schedule. Do not create exports or other copies for routine review.

Do not send a government ID or a child’s personal records with this form. When applications open, return a clear photo or PNG image using the secure guardian form on the application website. JPEG photos are converted to PNG in your browser and rebuilt by the server; original files and photo metadata are not retained. PDFs and other file types are not accepted. Staff must be able to read the signature and every consent choice.
